Citadel is a Horde-side, light RP guild for mature adults that does casual raiding and some PvP.
How large/active is the guild? – We are a very active guild with over 60 different members who sign on regularly. Founded on day one of the server, we were created as a home for mature, adult players with families who don't need to keep up with die-hard raiders but enjoy advancing in the game. Long-time and beginner roleplayers are both at home within our walls, as well as people who prefer not to raid, enjoy PvP more than PvE, or level at their own pace.
Is RP required? Is OOC allowed in guildchat, or do you have a separate channel for that? – Guild chat is strictly IC; we do have a separate OOC channel. We also disallow any "l337speek" on any channel and ask that members keep all conversations clean.
Do you have a level restriction? – No, but we do have a player age minimum, 21. Many members are older, and have real-life obligations like families and military duty.
Do you have a guild website? – Stories, guild information, and applications can be found at our website: http://citadel-tn.guildportal.com/ We also have our own Ventrillo server.
What is the backstory for the guild (if any)? – Citadel is a military organization of Horde soldiers who venture at Thrall's order and on behalf of the Bronze Dragonflight into the dangerous places of Azeroth and beyond. Our Warlord is the intrepid Vuudu, who has helped build many alliances over the years, advised by Generals Ayashe and Emptysoul as well as a number of other officers. Our soldiers have a variety of ultimate goals and lifestyles but hold in common a commitment of honor, brotherhood, and above all, loyalty.
Is there an initiation process before you are tagged? – There is an application process. One must find one guildmember to sponsor and three additional to support before he or she will become a full member.
What would you say is the average level of the guild? – We have a good number of 70's with a smattering of lower levels and alts. We do some raiding, currently cleaning up Karazhan and Gruul's Lair and working on further 25-mans.
How would you classify the guild in RP terms? – Lawful good, although some members may not be so lawful and some not so good. However, Citadel's code is to help each other and be a respectable part of the community.
