Expanded Lore can be people, places, or things that the roleplaying community has added to or changed from official World of Warcraft lore.

[edit] Factions, Groups, & Locations
This section is for factions, groups, and locations, official lore or player-created, pertinent to the roleplaying scene and the characters who are notably associated with them. In effect, a human should only be listed under Stormwind if they are significantly involved in the city, such as if they are an active part of the nobility, have a storyline involving the city, are intensely or unusually loyal to Stormwind, or something else vital to the character.
Each individual page also contains what relevant lore has been created by roleplayers. Official lore need not be reposted; a link to where that can be found elsewhere is sufficient.

Goldshire Elwynn Forest's serene town. Associated:
Ironforge Constructed in the very heart of the mountains, the ancient home of the dwarves. Associated: Ironforge Regiment
Stormwind Assassins A secret society of spies and saboteurs rumored to be controlled by King Wrynn. Associated:
Stormwind City The last of the great human cities. Associated: Lurile Shireman
Righteous Hand A group of Draenei zealots based in Nagrand and bent on annihilating all orcs. Associated: Keeper Lakaal, General Ishandra

The Blood Knights The Blood Elves who have learned to bend the Light to their will. Associated: Malethia
Darkspear Tribe Exiled from home after home, the Darkspear now live on the shores of Durotar. Associated: Itakae, Keeju
The Forsaken Allied with the Horde for convenience only, the Forsaken hunger for vengeance. Associated: Infection, Xiphus, Ellsbeth
Grimtotem Clan An unusually aggressive clan of tauren who wish to eradicate the "lesser races." Associated: Rokoce Grimtotem, Feralmoon
Orgrimmar The new capital of the orcs; a warrior city. Associated:
Silvermoon City Destroyed and rebuilt, many Blood Elves make their home in this deceptive city. Associated: Qabian, Malethia, Marowit, Naheal Malastar, Draco Visca, Solenev, Ansha Saeralyan, Lysimachus, Sabeinne
Thunder Bluff The newly-built home of the united tauren clans. Associated: Diomades Riverhorn, Imalar, Imara, Iona
Undercity Freshly carved from the ruins of the human capital Lordaeron, it is the home of The Forsaken. Associated: Infection, Vales, Ellsbeth
Revantusk Tribe Allied with the Horde, but not truly a part of the Horde. A village of trolls in the Hinterlands. Associated: Yenene, Peji

Argent Dawn/Argent Crusade An order dedicated to battling evil. Associated: Liadain, Ellsbeth
Bloodsail Buccaneers Pirates who frequent the Southern Isles of the Eastern Kingdoms. Associated: Elrioch, Liadain
The Bronze Dragonflight Masters over time, watching carefully from the Caverns of Time hidden deep in the Tanaris desert. Associated: Fallacy, Emmons, Naheal Malastar
Cenarion Circle/Expedition A group which focuses their efforts on harmony with nature. Associated: Maegannon, Imalar
Dalaran The focal point for magi and the study of the arcane throughout human history. Associated: Ansha Saeralyan
Knights of the Ebon Blade Death Knights who have broken away from Arthas' influence and now oppose him. Associated: Naheal Malastar, Peji
Goblin Trade Coalition Zanzir Cobbleboom is one known Trade Prince; he commands the Steamwheedle Cartel. Associated: The Cartel Enforcers, Videlle
Netherwing Dragonflight Spawned from the eggs of Deathwing's black dragonflight, the Netherwing seek to find their own heritage. Associated: Diomades Riverhorn
The Scarlet Crusade A zealous religious organization determined to wipe out all undead. Associated: Elanderik
Stratholme Once the northernmost city of the humans, it now harbors nothing but horror. Associated: Darkblade, Ellenia, Xiphus, Ellsbeth
The Wyrmrest Accord An alliance of the Red, Bronze, Green, and Black Dragonflights to oppose the Blue Dragonflight. Associated: Draco Visca

[edit] Items, Creatures, and NPCs
Here you can find items, creatures, and non-player characters (NPCs) pertinent to the roleplaying scene that are either not found in official Warcraft lore, or have been modified or extended in some fashion.
For instance, if some enterprising engineer had created a new device that he uses extensively in his/her roleplay, then they could list it here. An example of a creature could possibly be a pet, or perhaps a demonic boss that is battled via roleplay. NPCs can be a character's family member that will never be played in-game, or they can be actual, real NPC's that have been given additional personalities beyond what the lore accounts for.
Official lore need not be reposted; a link to where that can be found elsewhere is sufficient and encouraged. A brief synopsis, especially for "real" NPCs is fine, just do not attempt to duplicate in detail what WoWWiki already has made available.
