History: Imalar was born into the Wildmane tribe 65 years ago on the plains of Kalimdor. His parents were older when he was born and he was their only calf. As he grew, it became apparent that he had inherited his mother’s affinity for nature and, coupled with his father’s stomach for battle, this made him a perfect candidate to follow the path of the Sacrificer. His upbringing was fairly typical and upon reaching adulthood he was to marry a young cow from his tribe by the name of Kym. Their families hoped that they would be able to further the interests of the Earthmother together.
Unfortunately, Imalar’s wanderlust and his tendency to prefer his own company to anyone else’s were not suited for the more gregarious cow. Thus, Kym broke off their engagement and chose to find her own way in the service of Arch Druid Runetotem in Thunder Bluff. On his own, Imalar began to travel and focus even more on his training in the ways of the Earthmother. He has also spent many hours in the libraries of the Cenarion Circle, learning of the past so that he might better understand the present and the future. His path eventually crossed that of an impetuous elven paladin who seemed to be in need of focus and guidance in his training. Thus, Imalar found himself with his best friend and partner.
Recently, at a loss for direction, Imalar took several trips into the Emerald Dream. He was graced by Ysera's presence on one of his journey's and, in an effort to aid him in helping those in need of guidance, she blessed him with a sort of "dreamsight" akin to her own, though much less powerful. In an effort to find a way to free Maithanet from the nightmares haunting him, Imalar has willingly gone into the Emerald Dream and now walks in its beautiful and horrible landscape. Rumor has it that he may have found a way to reach Maithanet through Liadain Greyhame's emerald whelpling companion, Nap.
